Richie has the fascinating ability to stay calm in the wildest situations. Throughout his career, many moments of adversity tried to deny him his dream of winning an event on the world tour. A bronze whaler shark and a tsunami couldn’t stop Richie as he won the Trestles 2003 World Championship.
